well Christmas just passed, and I spent it here in the Philippines with my relatives whom i haven’t seen since i moved to the US. don’t get me wrong, it was fun and all, but i missed my family and my Girlfriend. although we did skyped with them, the brothers and i were sort of overwhelmed with sadness from the thought that we weren’t going to be able to spend Christmas or even New Years with my Family. it is a bittersweet sacrifice, but it is very necessary. my Bubba, just spent Christmas Even with my Family, and i got to say, i’m thankful that she did because she had a pretty good time. she even slept in my parents’ room, which is sort of odd, but fine either way. a couple of my cousins, my bros and i spent the night at the “Lopez Farm”, and drank the night away. did some karaoke to battle sadness that we felt being away with our immediate family. i miss and love them a lot. but God is Great, so i know we’ll be back in no time. =) all in all, the holidays here isn’t as bad as i thought. simple, memorable, and fun.
